About the speaker:
I grew up on our family's farm, where my passion for agriculture took root. After graduating from high school in Ypsilanti, MI, I pursued my interest in turfgrass management at Michigan State University's agricultural program. As a third-generation sod farmer, I've had the privilege of learning and contributing to our family business over the years.
In 2009, my brother Eric DeBuck, our parents, and I expanded our endeavors by venturing into agritourism. This venture combines our farming expertise with a commitment to community education and engagement. Through agritourism, we showcase the natural beauty of our farm, offer educational experiences, and create lasting memories for our visitors.
Beyond our farm, I am honored to serve as the President of NAFDMA, a remarkable association that has significantly enhanced our business operations. Through NAFDMA, we've gained invaluable insights and connections that drive positive growth and innovation in our agritourism ventures.
Today, alongside my family and with the support of NAFDMA, I am dedicated to furthering our legacy as stewards of agriculture and leaders in agritourism.
