About the speaker:
Jacob Hurst is a lecturer in the Plant Science Department at California State University, Fresno, and PhD student in the Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences Department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He teaches plant health and propagation courses. His research interests include grafting, propagation of drought-tolerant food crops, and development of climate-smart sustainable agroecosystems.
