Lavender Cultivars
“What varieties should I plant in spring 2021?” – varieties
“What varieties have others grown successfully?” – learning from the experience of others
“What products do folks make from the harvest of these varieties?” – products
For many folks, knowing what varieties and what to do with their harvest is a vital part of success in their lavender business.
Those getting ready to place orders soon, pay attention. If you are thinking about what varieties will work, or just wanting to share about what you’ve done, taking a break from these crazy times and our busy schedule to sit down on the “front porch” and listen and share couldn’t come at a better time. The gathering will give you a chance to hear from the experience of others, of which some of our members have upward of 40 years’ experience growing lavender. This should provide you an idea of varieties of lavender to grow to enable you to be successful in your operation.
Experienced growers on the call will share information on successful varieties they have grown, their climate and growing conditions, and the products they produce from these varieties.
How others have used the varieties they grow to produce the products they want will help give you some good thoughts on what varieties you may want to order for next spring’s planting.
If you have an hour to an hour-and-a-half to sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee or glass of tea, a rocking chair or swing, a few cookies or a piece of, fresh out of the oven, apple pie … and a computer or smartphone … let’s get together and chat!
