Friday, September 25
2:00 pm-3:30 pm check-in (informal time at Midfield Farm-Lavender Lemonade, networking)
3:30-5:00 pm – Midfield Lavender Farm - visit lavender fields and tour farm
5:00-5:45 pm - Midfield Lavender Farm story ……presentation and Q&A
5:45-6:30 pm Complementary Wine Tasting by Good Water Vineyards
6:30-7:30pm dinner at farm (included with registration)
7:30-8:00 pm – optional…..social time at firepit, porch, cabin

Saturday, September 26
8:30 - 9:00 am – coffee and light snacks
9:00 - 10:00 am -Partnerships to promote and market your farm….Sarah Fleming, Northeast TN Tourism association
10:00 - 10:15 am - Break
10:15 -11:15 am -Soil Amendments and preparation….Melody Rose, University of Tennessee Extension office
11:30 – 1:00 pm – Agritourism, risk management, and farm diversification, Vera Ann
Myers, Owner of Myers Pumpkin Patch and Greenhouses we will drive from Midfield Farm to Myers Pumpkin Patch and Greenhouses, about 10 minutes from our farm. We will have lunch there (make your own sandwiches from Yoders Country Market with homemade bread, included with registration)
12:15 – 1:00 pm Lunch at Myers Farm (included with registration)
1:15 -2:30 pm - Ever After Lavender Farm/Gift Shop Tour and discussion….Jeff and
Cindy Riner, Owners ( short 5-10 min drive from Myers Pumpkin Patch)
2:30 - 2:45 pm - Break
2:45 – 3:30 pm Round Robin Discussion ….time for each farm to share story of their farm,
favorite tool, product, or innovative idea from their farm
3:30 – 4:00 pm – Q&A and wrap-up
5:30 – 7:00 pm – Optional dinner for guests, local restaurant (not included in registration)

Cost: per person $35 for members/$65 for non members (registration includes a dinner and a lunch)
