Dr. Jill Schramm, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, BCADM, CDCES is a member of USLGA, and volunteers on the Education & Research Committee. In her whitepaper entitled, “Harvest Cycles: How Lavender Supports Midlife Women During Perimenopause and Menopause,” she brings a unique dual perspective as both a clinician and a grower, helping translate complex medical information into practical, meaningful guidance for the lavender industry.
Her focus is on perimenopause and menopause as she discusses these natural stages of life that affect nearly all women and are often associated with symptoms such as sleep disturbance, anxiety, vasomotor symptoms, and increased stress. These physiologic and psychosocial changes can significantly impact quality of life during midlife.
Dr. Jill Schramm, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, BCADM, CDCES, is a doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in endocrinology, specializing in diabetes, obesity, and hormone health. She has pursued advanced education and clinical training in perimenopause and menopause care and is dedicated to improving access to accurate, evidence-based treatment for women during this life stage.
